After giving birth to my daughter I was extremely depressed about my body and weight. After about 15 months I had had enough. I started working out more and counting calories. It worked. I lost 15 lbs and looked good. I got back into my jeans, which was a huge victory. I was more obsessed about the weight loss and calorie counting and working out was secondary. Katie talked me into coming to her Saturday bootcamp class. I have to admit, I've been resistant to committing to working out. I am a full-time working mom with an intense career. I started out small. I committed to the Saturday bootcamp. I could workout once a week, right? Shortly thereafter I wanted more and asked Katie to program workouts for me at home three days a week. I immediately felt myself getting stronger. I gained some confidence. My eating had not changed much as I was still breast feeding and you now know how easy it is for me to make excuses. At the end of September I had had enough. I was no longer breast feeding so there went that excuse. I hit a wall. I was binge eating and indulging in sugary foods. I had low self esteem and was very unhappy about my body. I was finally ready to fully surrender. I knew who to call. Katie immediately hooked me up with the 30 day meal plan. I complained a lot along the way and really relied on her for support during my intense sugar withdrawals. But I stuck to the plan. I had no sugar, dairy, grains, alcohol, etc; everything she said to do I did. I'm so glad I did. It's been a rough 30 days but boy did it feel good to get on the scale and measure myself at the end and see the results. I am fitting in my expensive executive suits again and some of my jeans. I actually love to cook and I feel like cooking with whole foods and creative recipes brings out my passion even more. I love what Katie has done for me. I mostly appreciate her passion and hardcore accountable attitude. There is no cutting corners with this lady and I love her for that. I know this is a life style change and I'm just at the beginning but I'm looking forward to many more successes. Thank you Rebel Fitness for changing my life and attitude about working out and eating pure.
